Whether you have full production drawings, an existing product to match, a sketch or just a design concept, our skilled Graphic Designers can transfer your requirements into manufacturable drawings and files. We can also assist you with the design of your product in regards to fonts, detail definition, screen-print compatibility etc…
When designing a new products we also offer full design for the layers. This ensures that your order will be manufactured and built as ‘lean’ as possible and the waste of expensive inks and printable will be kept to a minimum.
We can receive a variety of digital file formats, .ai (Adobe Illustrator), .pdf (portable document folder), .cdr (CorelDraw), .fh (Freehand), .eps (editable), .dxf, .dwg, .tiff, .gif, .jpeg, .bmp, to name but a few. With on-going investment in hardware and software our customers can have confidence in the future-proof abilities of our design department.

Arts N Prints hosts a complete art and design department to help bring your ideas to life into a clear, individualized nameplate, stickers, wayfinding signs, membrane keypads, decals, badges or label to suit your needs. Upon receiving an order, we will send you photographic examples according to your design specifications and 2 revisions before we begin actual production.
FINISHES
METAL NAMEPLATES
Epoxy finishes are solvent and abrasive-resistant, but can be subject to fading due to harsh sunlight and ultraviolet rays.
Acrylic finishes are solvent and sunlight-resistant, but not as tough as epoxy surfaces. Both epoxy and acrylic surfaces are available in matte or glossy styles.
LABELS
All laminated or without laminated labels are available in matte or glossy finishes, depending on customer needs and specifications.
SHAPES AND SIZES
Square and rectangular as well landscape or portrait nameplates as well as labels are available in all sizes without the need for special tools. However, if the customer requires an unusual shape or close tolerances, some tooling may be required for the product. For special tooling cases that require a die that we currently do not stock, charges may be incurred but only on the first order. Some materials can be created via laser without accruing any additional tooling charges.
MOUNTING
METAL NAMEPLATES
Mechanical mounting involving applications by screws or rivets are used in cases where permanence comes before convenience. Mounting holes of practically any size can be placed anywhere on the nameplate needed by the customer.
LABELS
All labels come equipped with permanent pressure sensitive adhesive backs.

IMPORTANT FACTORS IN NAMEPLATE PRICING
The four most important factors in nameplate pricing are as follows:
- quantity
- size
- number of colors
- mounting methods (i.e; use of adhesive, or number and size of holes for mechanical mounting)
UNSPECIFIED INFORMATION
There are many minor items that are generally unspecified in purchase orders that we receive. Examples of such items are tolerances, existence of registration marks and surface scratches. NAMEPLATES abides by industry standards as specified by GPI (National Association of Graphic and Products Identification Manufacturers, Inc).
